The Consulate General of the Philippines in Houston, Texas (Houston PCG) reopened on 24 September 2018, exactly 25 years after it closed its doors in September 1993.\u00a0 It exercises consular jurisdiction over the following States:<\/p>

  • Arkansas<\/li>
  • Louisiana<\/li>
  • Mississippi<\/li>
  • New Mexico<\/li>
  • Oklahoma<\/li>
  • Texas<\/li><\/ul>

    Its mandate is to uphold and protect overseas Filipinos’ fundamental rights and freedoms, provide assistance to Filipino nationals in need, as well as promote and strengthen socio-economic and cultural ties with the States under its jurisdiction.\u00a0<\/p>

    Houston PCG is currently headed by Consul General Emil M. Sales who assumed his post on 01 August 2024.\u00a0 The Consul General is assisted by the following\u00a0 consular officials:<\/p>

    • Consul Von Ryan Pangwi<\/li>
    • Vice Consul Maria Tanya Gaurano<\/li><\/ul>

      Houston PCG offers the following consular services: passport application; visa application; dual citizenship application; civil registry such as Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, and Report of Death; notarial and authentication services such as affidavits, certifications, acknowledgement; issuance of travel documents; and NBI clearance fingerprinting.<\/p>
